Thu, 21 Jul 2011 17:19:22 +0000 hourly 1 http://wordpress.com/ http://heyvanity.net/2011/07/21/more-good-news-i-think/#comment-9 Thu, 21 Jul 2011 17:19:22 +0000 http://heyvanity.net/?p=140#comment-9 they’re mixed, some of the problems of a larger city. at the elementary level there are some that are real good and some that have more problems. there are two (soon to be 3) high schools and rockbridge is better then hickman (although their mascot is the Kewpies so how bad can it be). there are good montesori schools if you can swing that. i don’t have kids but i am a social worker so i’ve dealt with the schools a bit. if you do come to columbia stay in touch if you have questions or need to know about stuff locally. its a really friendly community.

I like the sound of “progressive”! lol More than likely I will have to rent out my house. Dreading that, but with three young children, I have to go where the money is and may not have a choice!!! How are the schools in Columbia?
